PeopleReady Skilled Trades is looking for experienced Commercial Painters specializing in brush, roll, and spray coat applications for commercial construction projects. Note: Pay is based on experience and ranges $23 / HOUR - $30 / HOUR
Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers.
Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces.
Ensure surfaces are smooth and clean, removing imperfections before and after painting.
Mix and match paint to the desired colors and ensure even application.
Work from ladders, scaffolding, or lifts to reach high surfaces.
Follow project specifications and instructions from supervisors to achieve the desired finish.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in commercial painting, including brush, roll, and spray applications.
Familiarity with different types of paint and surface preparation techniques.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications for painting.
Strong attention to detail to ensure smooth and even finishes.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and work in various positions, including climbing ladders or scaffolding.
Must have personal painting tools and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
Reliable transportation to job sites.
