The Accounts Payable Business Analyst provides support to multiple A/P teams and systems in the South Region by handling some of the more complex tasks within the organization. This role also provides AP Support to vendors, internal clients and works closely with A/P Leadership.

If you are located in San Antonio, TX, you will have the flexibility to Work from home and the office in this hybrid role* as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

Process uploads/consolidated invoicesProvide AP Support to external/internal clientsTroubleshoot support issues independently or escalate appropriatelyEducate clients on appropriate actions/processesPerform root cause analysis for escalations and present effectively to stakeholdersUpdate AP Tools to align with accounting/coding changesResolve payment and processing escalationsSubmit vendor change requests in the absence of a business relationship ownerPerform vendor reconciliationsPerform process mapping & documentationAnalyze business metrics and provide insights to leadershipProvide KPI's and DashboardsSupport process improvementsAbility to float (if needed) across A/P Teams and SystemsYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting/business administration3+ years of accounts payable experienceDemonstrated intermediate Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables & charts)Demonstrated problem solving/reconciliation skillsExcellent communication skills, oral and writtenExperience with Accounting ERP SystemsPreferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated healthcare experienceExperience with Concur Invoice and PeopleSoftExperience with Premier Connect, Ariba or CoupaDemonstrated ability to multi-task and keep abreast of workload
