Determine accurate medication quantities Select proper medication strength and vial size to reduce waste Select and dispense accurate medications Correctly label medications Handle hazardous and non-hazardous oral, topical, and parenteral medications Prepare medications for delivery Organize and maintain medication and supply inventories Perform inventory control duties, including ordering, receiving, stocking, exchanging, and returning medications and supplies
Ensure medications are appropriately stored Resolve insurance issues Assist with Prior Authorizations Aid patients with financial assistance programs Responsible for appropriate EMR documentation and communication with staff Follow Federal, State, and local laws and regulationsInterested in hearing more?
