PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Surgical Cardiac Telemetry Unit, myocardial infarction, rule out MI, Primary arrhythmias, pre/post open-heart surgery patients, vascular surgery patients, coronary artery disease, heart failure, pre/post cath lab with or without interventions, stroke patients with cardiac involvement SPECIAL PROCEDURES: Breathing Treatments, Chest Tube Set-up/Care, CPAP/BiPap, Trach Care Blood/Blood Products Administration Cardioversion / Defibrillation, Epicardial Pacer Management LVAD/Impella, Open Heart 24-28 hours Post-Op Tele Interpretation - Dysrhythmia Interpretation and management Hard Stop REQUIRED - Surgical Telemetry -(open heart surgery experience and vascular ( groin)radial band management, IV skills, NIH 2-3 years telemetry experience; optional- VAD, TAVR experience) sheath pull experience optional SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: Heparin, Insulin, Amiodarone, Antiarrhythmics, Beta Blockers, Cardizem, Hydralazine, Ketamine, Lasix, Nicardipine, Nitroglycerin, Stable drips CERTS: ACLS, BCLS, NIH all required STAFFING RATIO- 1:4-5 FLOAT: yes
