Very team oriented environment!Surgical Technologist assists nursing staff with patient care in the surgical suite within the limits described in their job description. Always works under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.Assists surgical team during operative procedures.Arranges and inventories sterile set-up for operation, and passes items as needed to operating team.Assists in preparing and moving patients, and in cleaning the OR theater.Prepares specimens for analysis.Unit Details:
Patient population: Pediatric-AdultEMR: CernerOperating Rooms: 16 rooms with coverage in Labor & Delivery for C-sections.Types of procedures: Neuro, Ortho, ENT, Thoracic, Vascular, General, and GynecologyAverage procedures per day: 50Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload.
RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!!NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).
Traveler
must
be available for call coverage on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year Eve and New Year Day. RTO during these holidays will not be approved. Thanks!

2+ years of current Surgical Tech experienceExperience with Ortho (total joints), Urology, Vascular, General Surgery --
MUST
be highly comfortable & proficient in these service lines across the board!Prior travel experience - Highly preferredNBSTSA equivalent certificates acceptedProfile Requirements:
Work HistorySkills Checklist (pertinent to position), current to 1 year1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment)License/Certifications - Must be uploaded with profile (NBSTSA (or equivalent, BLS - Facility will not pend license/certs)
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
