Job Title: Cardiac Sonographer Job Specialty: Diagnostic Services Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day shift with variable start and end times, including weekend day shifts and rotational call during weeknights and weekends. Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Experience: 4-5 years of adult experience preferred, but not required License: ND State License in adult echo (willing to obtain upon acceptance; processing typically takes 4-6 weeks) Certifications: ARDCS or RCS certification Must-Have: - Fast-paced, high-volume experience- Ability to perform agitated bubble studies- Availability for mandatory call as required- Pediatric experience is preferred (though PEDS patients are less than 10% of the caseload, primarily adult patients are served) Job Description: - Conduct adult echocardiography using Definity and agitated saline contrast in exams- Perform both inpatient and outpatient studies in a high-volume echo department- Execute procedures including TEE, Exercise Stress, and Dobutamine Stress Echo; TAVR, Watchmen, and ICE when experienced and time permits- Utilize department equipment such as EPIC, CUPID, TOM TECH Reporting, and PACS; all echo machines are Philips brand (EPIC 7, IE33, and CX50)- Operate within a unit with 6 echo machines across 3 rooms; most hospital patients are examined bedside- Adhere to the department dress code of gray scrubs with white, black, or gray underneath- Comply with guidelines on minimal use of personal electronic devices during work hours- Be prepared to work and/or take call on holidays within the contract period*Note: This location does not accept local candidates; applicants must reside more than 80 miles from the facility.*
