Job Description
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Automation Analyst to translate functional requirements and design specifications into quality automated test cases and assist in software releases on an on-going basis and coordinate the tasks and activities of the broader testing team. This position will be Full-Time and Remote.
This opportunity exists within our CAI’s Neurodiverse Solutions business unit, all candidates in consideration of positions within CAI’s Neurodiverse Solutions must be able to self-disclose that they identify as neurodivergent.

What You’ll Do
Analyze and translate functional requirements to create, execute, and automate test cases for large business initiatives
Actively participate in requirements reviews, gain an understanding of functional specifications, and provide feedback on documentation
Create and maintain test cases and test data using industry standard test automation tools
Write, review, and maintain the automation test scripts in test automation tools
Adhere to the clients accepted testing strategies & procedures within the industry standard
Perform all aspects of verification, including integration testing, functional testing, and regression testing
Develop and implement well-defined test plans
Manage defect tracking, provide informative updates, and facilitate defect management meetings as requested
Participate in production validation and support as needed
Actively participate in project group meetings
What You'll Need
Required:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
1 year of experience building automation scripts using Cucumber or Specflow in coursework, internships or work experience
1 year of software testing experience with industry standard testing/development and quality assurance methodologies and validation processes
Proficiency with Quality Center / Team Foundation Server for defect tracking, and document management
Proficiency in using testing tools (Microsoft Test Manager) and query experience with (SQL Server)
Knowledge of industry standard testing techniques (Test driven development, acceptance-test driven development)
Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming languages (Java, C#, Ruby, etc.)
Strong business and technology aptitude with a willingness to learn and understand business and software solutions
Ability to effectively communicate and present quality, compliance and risk issues to project team members
Ability to build strong partnerships and to work collaboratively with all business and IT areas
Highly motivated with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Strong communication and documentation skills
Preferred:
Certification in software testing or development (CSTE, ISTQB, CSM or MCSD, OCAJP)
Experience with Keyword, Modular and data driven framework, performance testing using JMeter or similar open-source technology
Familiarity with industry standard databases Ie: Oracle, MS SQL Server
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, Perl, etc.
Experience with database and service testing
Experience with Jenkins and plugins
Understanding of various Ruby gems
Knowledge of web development framework like MVC
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
Must be able to communicate with customers/team members over the phone and in person
