Genesis10 is currently seeking a QA Consultant with our client in the financial industry located in Plano, TX, Charlotte, NC, and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position.
Responsibilities:Provide Testing support for the various Transmission Platforms which include Production support-Smoke TestProvide front-end and back-end testing support for software applications on diverse development platforms, hardware, technologies, and toolsConduct end-to-end testing on applications and technology to ensure that business, technical, and functional requirements are being met throughout the SDLCDesign, build and execute test scripts based upon test strategy/plans in an effort to identify defects prior to production deploymentIdentify and develop ways to improve the quality, capability, or efficiency of the testing process
Requirements:
Capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing efficientlyEnjoy working with new and emerging technologiesAbility to work in a fast-paced, evolving, growing and dynamic environmentGherkinsWeb service and API testing (manual and automation)IBM SI experience with SSP and EA Cluster from the installation perspectiveAbility to liaise and work with remote teamGood communication and problem-solving skillsLinuxUnix Shell/Perl ScriptingAutomation with SeleniumCucumber-JavaIBM Integration Bus (IIB)/IBM WebSphere MessagerJira
Desired Skills:
SDM/Horizon automationKnowledge of IBM Connect:DirectKnowledge IBM/Sterling's Sterling Integrator 5.x/6.xKnowledge of creating test cases in JUnit or NUnitLoad testing using Apache j-meterKnowledge of Encryption software like PGPUnderstanding of networking concepts such as firewalls, proxies, etc. (intermediate)
