What's in it for you: As a key player in our new division, you'll have the unique opportunity to shape its culture and direction Impact the success of our innovative projects and help define the future of our product offerings Experience the best of both worlds with this team at Ecolab: the agility and creativity of a startup paired with the stability and resources of a global leader Our collaborative environment fosters innovation while providing the support and security you need to thrive What you will do: Be part of a dynamic and growing UX practice that creates digital experiences designed to streamline and enhance our customer and field interactions Develop and articulate product design vision to the teams, stakeholders, and external partners Collaborate daily on a cross-functional team made up of product management, engineering, and business stakeholders, to create high-quality digital solutions, contributing to a shared understanding of business, user, and product goals Iterate product design and features, informed by data and user feedback Perform design-related activities for digital products, from discovery through finalized design (e.g., problem analysis, concept development, wireframing, information architecture, information design, data visualization, low- and high-fidelity prototype creation, user interface design, visual design, etc.) Participate in and support the planning, facilitating, and participation in a variety of design-related activities, such as collaborative ideation workshops, product reviews, design critiques, etc. Act as an advocate for the design role, encouraging adoption of user-centered design and design thinking methodologies with internal teams and stakeholders Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field and/or equivalent related work experience 5 years of professional experience and an online portfolio that showcases user-centered design processes and fundamental research practices Experience working on many facets of digital product design lifecycle translating complex user needs, technical constraints, and business goals into thoughtful, effective digital experiences Experience in designing consumer and business applications, both from the ground up as well as improving upon existing products Experience in user researchand competitive analysis, and how to synthesize and interpret research data and qualitative feedback Possess experience in all phases of the design process-from concept generation through final, detailed design No immigration sponsorship available for this position Preferred Qualifications Experience in dedicated, collaborative, cross-functional teams, defining product and user experience strategy and direction, in agile/lean environments Familiarity with modern front-end technologies and frameworks Familiarity with Service Design and UX Design disciplines Experience and knowledge in of design processes, including methodologies like Process Mapping, User Journey Mapping, User Story Mapping, Wireframing, UI prototyping, User Testing, etc. Experience with industry-standard design and research tools (Figma, Adobe CC, InVision, User Testing, etc...) Experience working with pattern libraries and design systems Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to deal with ambiguity while juggling multiple priorities Familiarity with Agile and SAFe methodologies. Experience in user research and user testing activities Familiarity with advocating a User Centric Design Experience in designing responsive digital products, with a strong focus on mobile, both native and hybrid Portfolio Information If available, please include a digital link to an online portfolio in the application and/or resume.
