LevelTen Energy is looking for a Specialist to join the Transactions Team that facilitates renewable energy transactions between Buyers and Sellers. This entry-level role will set you up for a career in renewable energy. We are looking for a motivated self-starter who is eager to learn the ins and outs of the renewable energy industry. You will be able to develop your project management skills and will have a front row seat to the changing landscape of renewable energy project development and corporate renewable energy procurement process. You will have exposure to a wide range of industry contacts including renewable energy originators, developers, and corporate procurement managers. This role will be based in LevelTen’s North American headquarters in Seattle, Washington.
Job Description
Project Management Support - Support the Transaction Managers in project management and communication for Platform procurement processes. Specific tasks will include:
Preparing documentation for process launches
Reviewing offers and identifying errors for correction
Internal and external communication
Scheduling meetings
Note taking
Draft, test, and track marketing emails
Copy edit documents
General organization
Operations Process Improvement - Identify inefficiencies and create tools and processes to drive successful demand signals to a successful conclusion.
Platform Expertise - Become an expert on the LevelTen Energy software Platform in order to provide assistance to users, manage platform data, quality check customer inputs, and help troubleshoot errors for internal and external stakeholders.
Product Improvement - Suggest areas for improvement to the LevelTen Platform and provide feedback on new Platform features.
Research & Analysis - As required, complete research and provide analysis on market trends in renewable energy products, pricing, and regulation. This will include general market research as well as ad hoc analysis of LevelTen data. Write and present short policy and regulatory briefs to internal teams.
Customer relationship management (CRM) - maintain up-to-date customer and stakeholder records.
Qualifications
Preference for 1-year full-time professional experience or internship experience. Experience within the energy industry is a plus, but not required.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive, Salesforce (or similar), Project Management tools (Asana, Jira, or similar), Tableau experience would be a plus.
Extreme attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
Professional Skills:
Teamwork: Ability to work cross-functionally with different internal groups.
Self-Starter: Identification of unique data/trends and workshop ideas with internal teams.
Eagerness to learn.
Interested in a career in renewable energy/sustainability.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Tableau and/or Salesforce experience is a plus.
Additional Details
This position is based out of our office in the Belltown neighborhood of Seattle, WA (hybrid work schedule).
The estimated compensation for this position is $70,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. In addition, this position is eligible for an annual bonus and an equity grant.
