OverviewBlack Fox is seeking a highly skilled Application Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of an enterprise-grade application. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in .NET application development, CI/CD processes, and DevOps practices, as well as experience leading software development teams.Key Responsibilities:Architecture and Design:

Take ownership of the application's architecture, design, development, and implementation.Standards Development:

Establish and maintain standards, procedures, and guidelines for application design and development.Quality Assurance:

Review the work of other technical team members to ensure high quality, efficiency, and timely delivery.System Integration:

Create high-level architecture specifications to address system integration and compatibility challenges.Reference Architectures:

Develop reference architectures, applications, and proofs of concept for application development solutions.Collaboration & Leadership:

Work closely with project and organizational leadership on initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.Technology Evaluation:

Contribute to the review and evaluation of technology solutions, providing valuable feedback to leadership.Agile Participation:

Actively engage in team meetings and design sessions, aligning with Scrum ceremonies.Knowledge Transfer:

Provide technical knowledge transfer, training, documentation, mentorship, and guidance to State personnel.Performance Monitoring:

Monitor, review, and audit the performance of the customer-agency's replacement software, implementing improvements as needed.Mandatory Qualifications:7+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise-class .NET applications.3+ years of experience designing and implementing CI/CD processes using DevOps practices.3+ years of experience leading software development teams through the full development lifecycle.Experience with monitoring/observability platforms and application instrumentation for transaction tracing and timely alerts.Desirable Qualifications:Experience designing and implementing high-transaction volume distributed systems.Architect-level certifications in one or more technical disciplines (Windows, Linux, Cloud, Networking, Security, DevOps, etc.).Work Location:Primarily on-site, Baton Rouge, LA 70802.
