We are currently looking for a patent agent or patent engineer with a strong technical background in computer science. Candidates must possess excellent interpersonal skills. Opportunity to work fully remotely as a patent attorney from anywhere in the USA.Within this practice, there is an abundance of high-quality, complex computer science and software-related work. Here, you will not be expected to do ridiculous hours. This group is seeking people with very strong technical competency who also have excellent technical writing skills. Notably, patent experience is great, but if you have an exceptional technical background in computer science and have strong writing skills, this group can provide outstanding mentorship.Qualifications
Likely a degree in computer science or computer engineeringOther engineering disciplines will be considered if you have an exceptional software and computer science backgroundMust have excellent writing ability and be able to provide writing samplesMust have strong interpersonal skills, as you will deal directly with inventors and clientsUSPTO license is not required, but certainly a desire to pass the USPTO exam and grow as a patent practitionerNote
