Planet Interactive is looking for a Graphic Designer with a background in color, material, and finishes to join our well known Fortune 500 client on a 6 month contract! This role will be 40 hours per week and will require a hybrid schedule working out of their office in Culver City, CA. This role sits under the Sample Development team for a consumer product brand.
Graphic Designer Responsibilities:Create patterns and illustrations for various custom products, line extensions, and product partnerships.Bring together information to then compile/ create production focused documentation.Develop presentations for specific projects and for executive review.Contribute story-driven and forward-thinking color palettes for specific products that make sense for the brand aesthetic and manufacturing.Provide feedback on samples related to hardware parts such as- product parts, models, color chips, and finish that not only meet the aesthetics, but functionality as well.Provide feedback on color and hardware renders for e-commerce delivery and packaging.Design and maintain archive documentation.Support on-going production needs with clear and consistent documentation.Ability to develop creative solutions, patterns, illustrations, and designs under tight schedules.
Graphic Designer Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or Industrial Design.3-5 years’ experience performing a role substantially similar to the essential functions.Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite.Experience using 3D design software like Keyshot or a similar modeling program.Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable to a dynamic and fast-paced team.The staffing industry has seen an increase in people falsely representing themselves as recruiters to gather personal information from job seekers.
