PMQA Analyst .

HOW WILL YOU MAKE CHANGE HAPPEN?

The System Analyst will be responsible for ensuring system quality, managing requirements, and serving as a liaison between technical and business stakeholders. This role requires flexibility, as workload and priorities may shift based on State Based Exchange initiatives, regulatory changes, and leadership directives.

YOU WILL:

System Quality Assurance and MonitoringConduct daily system monitoring and quality assurance checksReview key application indicators and data anomaly reportsPrepare and deliver daily and weekly system QA reportsLead defect triage meetings and coordinate with the platform vendor to identify and align ownership to ensure defects are addressed, retested, and resolvedParticipate in release meetingsSupport system release sanity checks, as neededMonitor and balance notice generation and printing processesRequirements Management

Coordinate with business stakeholders to create requirements elaboration documents that add detail to the high-level product roadmap line items and that identify and address business issues, logic complexities, and solution / business compromises.Elicit, analyze, and document business requirementsWrite detailed requirement elaboration documentsFacilitate stakeholder sessions to gather feedback and validate resultsMonitor requirements from design to implementation

Review system design documents, provided by the platform vendor, for releases and provide feedbackReporting and Analysis

Generate weekly defect and system-stability summary reports for leadershipConduct ad-hoc analysis as requiredSpecial Projects and Processes

Develop presentations on processes for business teamsSupport documentation of processes on an ongoing basisSupport execution of annual processes (e.g., Periodic Data Match, 1095-A, Auto-Renewals), including documentation, dry runs, and production monitoring.Review proposed approach and the required reports from each stage.Create report templates (Excel and PowerPoint) to track and communicate end-to-end results.Gather batch job statistics and balance the counts from end-to-end.Analyze the results and compare to prior years and test for reasonableness.Review anomalous / unexpected results.

Provide CMS IV&V support if neededTools and Systems

Utilize Jira for defect tracking and triage discussionsIDEALLY, WE'D LIKE:

Experience in the health insurance, public health, and/or health policy fields.Health Benefit Exchange (HBE) / State Based Exchange (SBE) / Health Insurance Exchange (HIX) / Affordable Care Act (ACA) experience is ideal

Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesExperience with system quality assurance processes and defect managementFamiliarity with requirements elicitation and documentation techniquesProficiency in using project management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira)Ability to work flexibly and manage multiple prioritiesKnowledge of healthcare systems and processes is a plusThe ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple responsibilities
