As a Security Engineer in our Technology Security Operations, you’ll play a key role in helping to keep the bank safe by allowing secure access to and from the internet and provide 'defence in depth' security functionality while continuously evolving and improving the bank's technology and processes from the current threat landscape facing the financial industry. This role is responsible for identity management, access management (including Single Sign On and Privileged Access), information protection (SSL, Encryption, HSMs) and threat management.Role Type:

As a Security Engineer, you will work closely with the Cyber Security Operations team. This role has accountability for services provided by the team to internal customers by ensuring all necessary actions are conducted in accordance with ANZ's policy and procedure within agreed Service Level Arrangements.This role is accountable for:Maintain, manage & enable new workloads on cloud proxies.Security operations - Own & manage ServiceNow workloads for cyber defence (Incidents, changes, tasks, and problem records).Manage and keep documentation up to date.Manage the execution of upgrades, enhancements, and requests.Assist squads in delivering initiatives when needed.Engage in maintenance and operational design activities as required.Ōu Pūkenga? - What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience, working with cyber security infrastructure products (proxies, firewalls, endpoint security and vulnerability management).Experience installing, configuring, managing, troubleshooting, and patching Linux and Windows based security tools.A problem solver – You are energised by tackling complex problems and use critical thinking, your network, skills, knowledge, and available data to drive better outcomes for our customers and the bank.Risk savvy – You build sustainable solutions that protect customers, stakeholders, and the community.Excellent soft skills and presentation, high standard of written and verbal communication.A team player – You know we only win if we all win.
