Senior/Executive Director, Clinical Pharmacology

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Pharmacologist with a background in pharmacokinetic modeling to join our dynamic research and development team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the application of pharmacokinetic (PK) and pharmacodynamic (PD) principles to drug development, with a focus on modeling and simulation to predict drug behavior, optimize dosing, and improve therapeutic outcomes. Position Responsibilities:

Design, conduct, and analyze pharmacokinetic studies, including both preclinical and clinical trials.Develop and apply pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) models and simulation techniques to support drug development, dose optimization, and regulatory submissions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including research scientists, clinical researchers, and regulatory affairs, to integrate PK/PD analyses into overall drug development strategies.Interpret and communicate PK/PD modeling and simulation findings to non-specialist stakeholders, including project teams and regulatory agencies.Stay abreast of the latest developments in pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and modeling and simulation methodologies.Contribute to the preparation of regulatory submissions, scientific publications, and presentations at scientific conferences.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

PhD in Clinical Pharmacology or a related field, with a strong focus on pharmacokinetic modeling and simulation.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a drug development setting, with a proven track record of applying PK/PD modeling and simulation in the pharmaceutical industry.Experience with software tools for pharmacokinetic modeling and simulation (e.g., NONMEM, Phoenix WinNonlin, MATLAB, R).Understanding of the drug development process, including regulatory requirements related to pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics.Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing drug distribution, metabolism and pharmacokinetics studies.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable drug development strategies.Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and interact with a wide range of stakeholders.Publication record demonstrating contributions to the field of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics.

Compensation:

Base salary is determined by several factors that include, but are not limited to, a successful candidate's qualifications, skills, education, experience, business needs, and market demands. The role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits, which include flexible paid time off (PTO), medical, dental, vision, and life and disability insurance.
