The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating intuitive and engaging user interfaces and experiences, backed by comprehensive user research and testing. This role requires a deep understanding of user-centered design principles, a strong portfolio of UX/UI work, and the ability to translate user needs into elegant design solutions in a B2B company.

This position is an onsite position located in our corporate office in LaVergne, TN.Key Responsibilities:User Research:Conduct user research through various methods including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and field studies.Analyze user feedback and behavior to identify pain points and areas for improvement.

Develop user personas, journey maps, and scenarios to inform design decisions.UI/UX Design:Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows that effectively communicate design ideas.

Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible and aligned with business goals.

Apply best practices in UX design to ensure usability, accessibility, and overall user satisfaction.

UI Design and interaction design is a huge plus, understanding how responsive design works, and designing for various devices and screen sizes.Usability Testing and Iteration:Recruit, plan and conduct in person usability tests to gather feedback on design prototypes.

Iterate on designs based on user feedback and test results.

Document findings and present insights to stakeholders for informed decision-making.​​​​​​​Collaboration and Communication:Work closely with cross-functional teams including internal and external developers, product managers, and the marketing to deliver cohesive and effective design solutions.

Communicate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders through presentations and detailed documentation.

Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve design processes.

Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in UI/UX design and research.

Strong portfolio showcasing a range of UX and UI design projects.

Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma

Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.

Experience with usability testing, user research, and data analysis.

Excellent communication, presentation, socialization and collaboration skills.

Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.

Attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.

Preferred Skills:UI Design and interaction design is a huge plus

Self Driven and comfortable working as a solo UI/UX designer

Creative mindset, willing to think divergently and aloud

Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines.

Understanding of information architecture and content strategy.

B2B eccommerce / business experience

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications

Desire to learn about the automotive service industry.
