Overview
Hourly rate $22 working 32 hours week
Scope of Position:
The Office Clerk will provide data entry, outreach and administrative support and is responsible for program supportive service processes.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
General clerical duties including typing/data entry, mail correspondence, creating documents and trackers as neededCreate and maintain participant attendance recordsSchedule and assist with special events for participants and staff such as career fairs, informational workshops, etc.Assist participants with the supportive service process and make supportive service purchasesComplete paperwork and gather required documents to complete supportive servicesAct as a liaison between businesses and participants to complete supportive servicesMake and receive calls with participants prior to program orientationCreate orientation packets and assist with the facilitation of orientationKeep track of supply inventory and place supply ordersCreate/maintain/update transportation reimbursement recordsDistribute bus tickets and request bus tickets for replenishment as neededResponsible for pick-up and delivery of inter-office mailProvide postage stamps for mailings as needed and replenish when necessaryOther opportunities as available
Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirements:
Must have excellent communication and teamwork skillsHave a working knowledge of Microsoft OfficePrevious office experienceAbility to maintain flexibility as needs of contract or contractor requireHigh School Diploma or GED requiredValid Driver's License and an automobile are required
