The Senior Director of Corporate Relations serves as the primary liaison with industry partners to optimize long-term, mutually beneficial relationships that support philanthropic fundraising. The Senior Director of Corporate Relations reports directly to the Vice President for Institutional Advancement and Chief Development Officer and will have responsibility for developing and executing effective strategies designed to maximize corporate support of college philanthropic priorities. Responsibilities will focus on corporate donors with the capacity to make major and principal level gifts from a portfolio of strategically aligned prospects. In collaboration with Advancement staff, create and submit written proposals for donors. This position will collaborate with the senior leaders of the Advancement team. This position may supervise Corporate Relations Officer and administrative support staff. Required Qualifications

Experience in establishing strategies to identify and qualify corporate partners Success in creating and executing a strategic development plan for soliciting, securing and stewarding gifts from external partners. Experience in establishing a pipeline of supporters and managing a portfolio of at least 100 partners Demonstrated success in portfolio management, prospect qualification, analytics, and research and proven project management skills Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively, work well under pressure, and manage details of several concurrent projects Experience using reporting tools, design software, and donor management software. Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Preferred Qualifications

Establish strong, long-term relationships with corporate for program investment for the College Previous capital campaign, major gift cultivation and/or donor solicitation experience is essential. Seek corporate donor support for specific College program initiatives and new program development Successful manage portfolio of corporate donors and ensure that timely and accurate reports are provided Identify new corporate sponsors through a specific pool of prospects foundation donors Collaborate with senior leaders of Advancement as well as senior leaders of the College to identify program details and create opportunities for corporate gifts to the College Ensure that performance measurements are implemented to identify ways of expanding and enhancing corporate relationships for the College Corporate and Foundation relationships for the College Preferred Education/Experience

Advanced degree preferred; Bachelor’s degree required. Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible professional experience in development, major gifts fundraising, donor relations or other related professional experience Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Must have corporate relationship experience in higher education Ability to quickly create long-term relationships with College internal and external constituents Excellent communication, presentation, project management, and relationship management skills Ability to gather and analyze complex data and present information in a concise manner Must possess cultivating, soliciting, and stewardship techniques resulting in successful corporate and foundation gifts Experience in establishing strategies to identify and qualify corporate partners Success in creating and executing a strategic development plan for soliciting, securing and stewarding gifts from external partners. Ability to travel, including overnight stay, locally and nationally Must be able to walk, sit, and stand frequently and for extended periods of time Must be able to push, pull, or lift 10lbs as necessary Ability to work weekends and evenings as necessary Essential Duties/Responsibilities
