Job Description:
You will work with Parsons colleagues and partners and the U.S. Space Force to support the framework that hosts applications critical to the defense of our country. Your customer will trust you to address performance improvements, leveraging best-practices in SAFe Agile team frameworks, while identifying areas requiring urgent mitigation by leveraging advanced technology solutions to affect rapid positive improvements. Our innovative engineering team and cross-disciplinary coordination enables you to grow and extend your experience while contributing high-level value through your creativity. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
Our Ground Infrastructure team needs multiple Sr. Network Engineers to support our expanding portfolio of work in the USSF. As a collaborative member of a small and mostly autonomous team, this position directly supports secure enclave development networks.
You will focus on delivering value through scalable, fast, disruptive solutions to meet our customers’ most complex national security and critical infrastructure challenges. You will be able to apply your exceptional technology capabilities to stay ahead of the competition and our meet our customers’ needs.
Evaluating existing network performance, offering alternative options for performance and traffic management and directly improving the day-to-day operations of fiber and coper design and equipment.
What You'll Be Doing:
Configure and optimize network hubs, routers, and switches.
Develop and implement network backup and recovery procedures.
Diagnose network connectivity problems.
Install and maintain network infrastructure device operating system software.
Install or replace network hubs, routers, and switches.
Monitor network capacity and performance.
Patch network vulnerabilities to ensure information is safeguarded against outside parties.
Test and maintain network infrastructure including software and hardware devices.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 8+ years of experience (Masters and 5+ years)
Active DoD IAT Level III certification (e.g. CISSP, CCSP, GCIH, GCED, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA; reference cyber.mil for current list of approved certifications)
Cisco certification
Experience implementing technical solutions in complex and heterogeneous environments
Experience with Cisco IOS and PAN-OS
Experience with Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning
Experience working in multi-organizational and matrixed resources and teams (SAFe Agile)
Network performance tuning, load balancing and wide band/narrow band load balancing
Cloud and On-Premise network experience
OS integration and RHEL Linux experience with some system administration
Ability to demonstrate cyber/IT related experience with attention to detail, customer service, oral and written communication, and problem solving

$96,400.00 - $168,700.00
