A client of Insight Global is looking to add a PowerBuilder Developer to their team. This person will work on various projects involving Windows applications. As a PowerBuilder Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions using PowerBuilder and other technologies. You will also collaborate with other developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure the quality and functionality of the applications. In this role you will help analyze and evaluate existing or proposed systems and requirements and help develop and maintain Windows applications using PowerBuilder and other technologies. Also, will help write and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for database interactions and debug and troubleshoot software issues and provide technical support for a large project within this area.
$47 - $56
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages while on contract for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

5+ years of experience in PowerBuilder DevelopmentAbility to research legacy PowerBuilder Source code to document the steps the application uses with dataStrong communication both written and verbal and ability to work in a fast paced, high-pressure environment5+ years of experience in T-SQL Query WritingMust have a high level of SQL query writing skills to write complex queries to pull data from a Sybase and MS SQL Server database. Must have experience developing processes to extract and manipulate data to support data migration and data cleansing of application data.Experience in Data managementMust have experience in performing data profiling, data mapping, data manipulation, validation, and analysis
