JOB REQUIREMENTS: Shift: 1st Shift Work model: Remote Schedule:FULLTIME; Mon-Fri 1st Shift Job overview: Schneider is seeking aBusiness Development Director to develop strategic plans for newcustomers that grow relationships and increase revenue andprofitability. The Business Development Director will develop andexecute action plans that lead to successfully closing new deals. Thisrole will be aligned to Schneider\'s Dedicated service offering.Responsibilities: Identify, qualify and develop new businessopportunities through prospecting and planning. Coordinate developmentof client solutions with solution design team, relationship managers andservice offering owners. Prepare and lead contract negotiations for newbusiness. Follow-up on lead generation through sales calls. Validatedeals and manage ongoing interactions with customers. Ensure timelyaccount management and effective use of CRM. Skills and qualifications:Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience preferred. Minimum of sixyears of sales experience preferred. Transportation industry experience.Strong prospecting skills. Financial management skills. Strong writtenand oral communication skills. Able to travel 50-75% of the time. Payand benefits: Uncapped commission.
