Job ID: 2772603 | Amazon Web Services, Inc.The Worldwide Public Sector (WWPS) team at AWS is seeking a dedicated, resourceful, and customer-obsessed Executive Assistant to support the Vice President of AWS Public Sector Industry (PSI). The Executive Assistant will report directly to the Vice President, providing calendar management, travel, expenses, and project and administrative support.

This role demands a strong sense of urgency and the ability to work independently on assignments with sound judgment. The right candidate will have a strong bias for action, ownership, and the ability to juggle many tasks simultaneously. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company is imperative.

Key job responsibilities

Proactively support the PSI VP’s leadership teamManage complex calendar and scheduling requirements including international impactOrganize and plan international travel, including creating and owning itineraries that can often be very complexOrganize, prioritize and handle time-sensitive, confidential information and ensure appropriate action is takenManage various other projects for the executives and companyManage and coordinate with assistants throughout the team and across the companyPrepare various correspondence and documents for executives; edit and proof correspondence and documentsOpen, close and manage PO processTrack and drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on outstanding executive action itemsWork with Finance to track goals, headcount, and budgetsOrganize and drive key team and company-wide events including organization, all hands, off-sites, and team-building events

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of senior level leadership support experienceExperience with executive level calendar managementExperience with domestic or international travel coordinationExperience working with large global teamsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
