Machine Operator

As a Machine Operator, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing operations, responsible for safely and efficiently operating and maintaining metal machines to produce high-quality components. Your commitment to safety, attention to detail, and ability to follow procedures and maintain quality standards are essential to our plant's success in areas such as Safety, Quality, Reliability (SQR), and our Customer 1st strategy.

• Adhere to all safety procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to ensure a safe work environment.
• Safely operate and maintain the assigned metal machine and related equipment to meet daily production orders.
• Conduct safety observations as assigned to promote a culture of safety.
• Follow standard work processes and procedures for the assigned machine.
• Verify the presence of proper components at the workstation before starting a job.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficiency and safety.
• Perform quality checks on parts using gauges, micrometers, and calipers to ensure product specifications are met.
• Package finished parts in accordance with guidelines.
• Be able to perform the essential functions of the position.

• Previous machine operation experience is preferred.
• Strong math skills to perform measurements and calculations.
• Experience with the use of gauges, micrometers, and calipers for quality inspections.
• Ability to read and interpret procedures, blueprints, and schematics.
• Detail-oriented mindset to maintain precision and quality in operations.
