Job Details

The Technical Project Manager will play a crucial role in managing and executing cross-functional projects involving software and hardware development. You will be responsible for timelines, execution, and stakeholder alignment. With a hands-on approach, you will ensure that every team stays on track, mitigates risks, and drives toward successful project delivery.

This is an ON-SITE (Hybrid) Full-Time Position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project Management: Develop and manage project timelines, schedules, and deliverables. Ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.

Cross-Functional Leadership: Serve as a player-coach, collaborating with software, hardware, operations, and other teams to ensure smooth execution of projects.

Execution Excellence: Own the estimation process for timelines and execution across multiple projects involving both hardware and software components.


Risk Mitigation: Anticipate issues, create detailed mitigation plans, and proactively flag risks to ensure project continuity.

Communication & Accountability: Confidently stand at the front of the room to present project statuses, hold teams accountable for missed deadlines, and resolve discrepancies.

Hardware & Supply Chain Coordination: Work closely with hardware teams to plan and schedule tasks from deadlines to deliverables, addressing supply chain and testing challenges.


Product Alignment: Collaborate with the product team to ensure alignment between product roadmaps and engineering deliverables, especially across software and hardware integration.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Hands-on experience managing projects that span both software and hardware development.


Mastery of a project management tool (e.g., Jira, Asana, Monday.com, or similar).


Ability to lead agile ceremonies, manage schedules, track progress, and communicate effectively across teams


Proven track record as a player-coach who can work cross-functionally and lead teams toward project completion.


Strong understanding of supply chain complexities and their impact on project delivery.


Deep familiarity with the testing challenges involved in hardware, software, and embedded systems.


Expertise in timeline estimation and execution process across hardware teams.


Ability to anticipate project-related issues and create mitigation plans to address risks and problems.


Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining focus in a fast-paced environment.


Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to hold people accountable and drive project success.


STRONGLY DESIRED

Experience working in a start-up or fast-paced environment.


Background in Engineering


Understanding of connectivity, telecom, IoT, satellite, or space industry.
