Job Details

As an Orthodontist, you will be responsible for seeing multiple patients daily, understanding their specific medical needs and history, and conducting thorough examinations, which may include ordering additional tests. Your duties will include diagnosing issues, developing treatment plans, and providing follow-up care, such as prescribing medication or making advanced referrals.

  • Welcome and get to know each patient, learning about their medical and dental history.
  • Conduct patient examinations, order tests, and interpret x-rays and test results.
  • Diagnose patients and develop treatment plans, which may include surgical options, management, extractions, and more.
  • Educate patients on proper oral health practices.
  • Communicate effectively with all staff to ensure everyone is aware of the patient's needs and care plan.
  • Prescribe follow-up care and medications as needed.
  • Document all patient care, requirements, and observations to maintain accurate records.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of Orthodontic experience
  • DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation (ADA CODA).
  • Current state license to practice dentistry.
