Job DetailsJob Details:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Attorney to join our fast-paced legal team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about advocating for clients who have suffered personal injuries and committed to providing them with high-quality legal representation. This position requires a deep understanding of personal injury law, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients who have suffered personal injuries in legal proceedings.
- Conduct thorough case investigations to uncover all relevant facts and evidence.
- Draft and file legal documents necessary for personal injury cases, including complaints, pleadings, and motions.
- Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance companies to ensure clients receive fair compensation.
- Prepare and present cases for trial, including selecting jurors, arguing motions, meeting with judges, and presenting evidence.
- Conduct and defend depositions, interrogatories, and document production requests.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed about the progress of their cases.
- Collaborate with legal staff to manage case schedules, deadlines, and documentation.
- Stay updated on current legislation and case law related to personal injury.
- Comply with all legal standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the State Bar.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Personal Injury Attorney.
- Proven litigation experience, preferably in personal injury law.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to resolve cases favorably.
- Excellent legal writing skills, with the ability to draft clear, concise, and persuasive legal documents.
- Experience managing a high-volume case load, with strong organizational and case management skills.
- Trial experience, with a track record of success in the courtroom.
- Experience conducting and defending depositions.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to providing outstanding client service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High ethical standards and professional integrity.
