CNC Setup Machinist

As the CNC Setup Machinist you would be responsible for the setup of CNC machining centers efficiently and effectively for multiple machining and cutting operation on various materials.

Shift: 1st (Monday through Friday 6 am to 230 pm)
Wage

$20 to $38 based on experience with reviews after 90 days

Duties/Responsibilities

• Efficient and timely setup of all CNC Haas Lathes in the facility.
• Ensures proper tooling is loaded into tool holders.
• Load programs, make adjustments as needed to produce quality part (i.e. speeds, feeds, depth of cut, chamfers, etc.).
• Set fixtures, tooling and vises required to produce parts.
• Review work orders and prints.
• Ensure raw materials are available and correct for the part to be produced.
• Run first production piece prior to handing off to an operator.
• Ensure all setup parameters are documented and repeatable prior to hand off to operator
• Develops common tooling for all CNC milling equipment.

Skills/Qualifications

• 3 years' experience setting up CNC machines
• Understands basic shop math, able to read prints, and edit programs using G&M codes.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Will be subject to a pre-employment screening.
