Overview:

Antigua Apparel is seeking an experienced, growth-driven executive to lead its Product group. The role of VP of Product reports to the Chief Executive Officer in Peoria, AZ, and presents the opportunity to drive innovation, creativity, and growth in all of Antigua Apparel's sales channels.

Responsibilities include

Strategic Vision:Develop and implement product merchandising strategies that drive growth and align with the company's overall goals and objectives across all product categories and channels.Focus direction on price/value proposition and fabric/silhouette/decoration strategy.Leadership:

Lead and develop a team of merchandisers, product and technical designers, product developers, and procurement personnel by providing guidance, coaching, and support to drive product innovation and success.Develop the creative direction and merchandising development of the company's apparel lines and all design initiatives across the organization.Lead the product development process from concept to launch, including design, engineering, and partnering with manufacturing teams to ensure products meet quality, cost, and timeline targets.Foster a culture of collaboration and excellence within the design and development teams as well as between development teams and sales.Build strong and synergistic relationships with cross-functional partners, including Operations, Sales, Marketing, Technical Design, and Product Development to ensure all products can be manufactured as scale and meet sales' needs.Empower individuals to innovate and excel in their roles.Brand Management:

Work closely with marketing and sales to translate brand values through compelling product stories and visuals.Seamlessly integrate brand identity, positioning, and messaging into apparel designs.Enhance brand recognition and consumer engagement and ensure consistency in brand identity across all product categories and channels.Market Research

Drive research and analysis of upcoming fashion and market trends to stay at the forefront in apparel and fashion landscapes.Conduct market research to identify consumer preferences, trends, and opportunities for new product development and improvements to existing products.•

Product Development

Think innovatively at all stages of the creative, design, and development process.Ensure the creation of compelling and competitive apparel collections.Play a key role in seasonal vision and design direction while driving design ethos.Supplier / Sourcing Management:

Cultivate and manage relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure product quality, cost efficiency, timely delivery, and social compliance standards are met or exceeded.Qualifications:

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Merchandising and Product Development, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.A minimum of 10 years of experience in product management, product development, fashion design, apparel merchandising, or a related field.Proven track record of leadership in the apparel industry, including sports licensing, general licensing, and golf channels.Experience successfully scaling products by developing merchandising strategies and delivering product assortments that drive sales and profitability.Deep understanding of the sports enthusiast's mindset and lifestyleDemonstrated creative and innovative thinker.Proficiency in and understanding of end-to-end development cycle.Strong leadership and teambuilding skills.Familiarity with sourcing, cost management, and supply chain strategies is beneficial.Exceptional communication and people skills with the ability to persuade and influence others.Ability to translate trends to specific targeted consumer needs.Strong aptitude for working effectively in dynamic environments, embracing new ideas, and contributing to organizational change.Deadline-driven individual who thrives working within tight timelines.Proficiency in PLM systems, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), Adobe Creative Suite, etc.This position is categorized as Safety Sensitive.Job Type:

$165,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year
