Position Summary:The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the effective operation of the marketing functions including but not limited to: business development, communication, community outreach, product and service promotions, and youth marketing to accomplish goals and plans within an authorized budget. In addition, this position is also responsible for performing daily marketing functions such as providing support for marketing promotions, distributing marketing materials, coordinating special events and promoting the credit union products and services to current and potential members.

Duties and Responsibilities:Follow all credit union policies, procedures, and requirements in addition to all state and federal laws and regulations, including Regulation CC, the Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC and USA Patriot Act/Customer Identification Act (CIP). Educate members on various credit union policies, procedures and related laws and regulations where applicable. Works with various departments and vendors to implement and enhance products and services.

Marketing Collateral• Create, manage and execute all DEXSTA FCU brand collateral to include; print, digital, social, electronic and direct mail marketing pieces; manage production of all marketing-related print projects.• Manage vendor relationships in regard to all collateral including digital.• Identify when vendor support is required for projects or tasks; select best vendor choice and manage relationship to maintain timeline and budget.• Design aesthetically appealing, functionally useful work that blends the current design trends and techniques with established brand identity and standards.• Selects and manages photos/images from stock photo service to ensure consistency to brand look and feel.• Coordinate, implement and maintain youth marketing programs.• Manage community outreach projects and programs.• Prepare periodic reports that reflect the department activity, progress toward goal attainment and the effectiveness of programs and promotions.• Prepare annual marketing plan and budget.• Provide marketing related support, presentations and employee education or training.

Website Management• Refreshes website content to ensure search engine optimization strategies; copyedit and proofread all site content.• Develops and implements search engine optimization strategies.• Reviews website statistics and monitors analytics using Google Analytics. Reports on web analytics and how to improve website traffic.• Assists in the development of databases, site mapping, interactive applets, and/or custom graphics.• Assists in ensuring SEO, and digital properties such as Google, Yelp, Bing etc. are regularly updated with correct information, links etc.• Keeps abreast of emerging web technologies through relevant blogs, list serves, and events.• Responsible for updating rate sheet, rates on website, in branch and phone recordings/ messaging.• Serve as a liaison for other departments to exchange and relay marketing related information as needed.

Social Media Platforms• Generate, edit, publish and share content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action.• Interface with and provide correspondence, on social media channels.• Research, generate, edit and publish paid advertising through different social media platforms. Track success of paid ads with clicks, shares etc. through analytical reports.• Other duties as assigned or required.

Essential Functions:Extended sitting of up to 70% of the time.Lifting up to 20 pounds may be frequently required. Lifting up to 50 pounds may be occasionally required.Bending and reaching above and below shoulder level may be frequently required.Sound perception/discrimination is frequently required.Continual verbal speech ability, color perception/discrimination and texture perception/discrimination is required.Intermediate mathematical skills (calculations/concepts involving decimals and percentages).Ability to analyze and collect data.Excellent oral, written, communication, spelling, proofreading skills, computer skills, interpersonal skills and time management needed.Strong problem-solving skills.Flexible work schedule and travel are required.A valid Driver’s License is required.Must be bondable.Education and Training:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field and /or equivalent job-related experience providing the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities of the role.Minimum of 2 years of marketing experience and/ or graphic design; social media platforms; credit union or financial institution a plus. Experience in working with and assisting others in a professional setting.
