The

Marketing Director

role is a pivotal position responsible for driving 7 Mindsets to new levels of growth. This role requires an accomplished marketing professional with a proven track record of leading teams and executing high-impact marketing campaigns and large-scale events that drive lead generation, brand awareness, and significant growth in the K-12 market.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Marketing Leadership

- Along with the VP of Marketing & Communications, develop and implement comprehensive, multi-channel marketing strategies that align with 7 Mindsets' brand identity, unique selling proposition, and voice. Lead the creation of product marketing assets, campaigns, and content to drive lead generation, conversion through the funnel, and overall revenue growth.Event Management & User Conferences

- Spearhead the planning, execution, and management of large-scale events, including national user conferences, regional workshops, and partner events. This includes overseeing all logistical aspects, such as speaker talent acquisition and management, venue selection, contract negotiation, event operations, budgeting, and on-site execution. Ensure high-impact experiences that engage attendees, drive customer acquisition, and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders.

Drive event registration through targeted marketing campaigns and work closely with sales to maximize attendee engagement pre- and post-event.Manage post-event analysis, including attendee feedback, lead generation results, and follow-up processes, to ensure continual improvement and optimization of future events.

Content Marketing & Operations

- Lead efforts in content marketing and operations to ensure exceptional execution of all customer and prospect-facing events, including webinars, live demos, in-person workshops, and virtual events. Oversee the creation and distribution of engaging, high-quality content that supports these initiatives, ensuring consistent messaging and branding. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver value-driven experiences that highlight 7 Mindsets' thought leadership in K-12 education, driving engagement and reinforcing brand positioning across all channels.Sales Support

- Collaborate closely with the sales team to develop and execute marketing strategies that drive lead generation and support sales goals. Provide targeted content, tools, and resources such as sales collateral, presentations, case studies, and digital assets to enhance sales effectiveness. Ensure alignment between marketing campaigns and sales objectives, offering insights from data analytics to optimize conversion rates. Additionally, serve as a key partner in organizing sales enablement initiatives to ensure the sales team is equipped with the latest messaging and tools.Project Management & Execution

- Oversee the execution of marketing projects from the field and ongoing initiatives related to digital asset creation, content marketing, email campaigns, and event promotion. Ensure all marketing efforts are aligned with corporate objectives, brand standards, and the company's growth targets.Cross-functional Collaboration

- Act as the primary liaison between marketing and other internal teams (sales, customer success, product) and external partners. Lead cross-functional initiatives to ensure alignment across all marketing efforts with a specific focus on the mindsets-based and mental health solutions within the K-12 market.Experience & Skills Required:

7+ years of experience in marketing & digital marketing, preferably within the K-12 EdTech sector.Demonstrated success leading and managing large-scale events, including user conferences and national gatherings, from concept through execution and post-event analysisProven ability to manage and mentor marketing teams, support sales teams and sales initiatives, and foster collaboration to ensure optimal performanceExperience developing marketing strategies that combine digital, content, and event marketing to achieve lead generation and revenue growthProficient in utilizing marketing automation/CRM systems (preferably with HubSpot, Salesforce)Strong understanding of the K-12 market, including trends, challenges, and opportunities, with the ability to craft go-to-market strategies that resonate with school districts, educators, and administratorsExceptional project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple high-priority projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budgetProficient in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira)Experience managing lead generation through digital ad schedules, websites, email marketing, and other demand-generation channelsAnalytical mindset with strong quantitative skills; capable of using data to inform decision-making and optimize marketing initiativesBachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related fieldAdvanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of WordPress and event management software is a plus
