Volunteer Coordinator Position Summary

The Coordinator of Volunteer Operations for TidalHealth engages volunteers, staff, and community to meet TidalHealth's mission, vision, and value. This position identifies continuous improvement opportunities that streamline and contribute to the effective efforts of all programming for volunteers and community engagement. The Coordinator's primary responsibilities include oversight of the daily volunteer department operations, volunteer engagement, advancing and building volunteer opportunities with the health system, database analysis and support for special projects in the Strategy and Business Development division. This position promotes volunteer retention, staff engagement regarding volunteers. The Coordinator interacts with volunteers, personnel from various departments, and community members.

Volunteer Coordinator Position Requirements

EducationAssociate's degree is required.Bachelor's Degree preferred.Minimum three (3) years of Coordinator, Administrative and/or HR experience may be considered in lieu of an Associates DegreeA certification as a Certified Administrator of Volunteer Services (CAVS) or Certified in Volunteer Administration (CVA) is preferred.Experience

Minimum two (2) years of administrative and customer service experience required.Experience working with Workforce Management & Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Office 365) is required.Previous experience in hospitality is strongly preferred.Previous experience with volunteer coordination is preferred.Knowledge of communities served by TidalHealth is preferred.Volunteer Coordinator Benefits
