As the Regional Sales Manager at Tesla, you will play a pivotal and multifaceted role in steering the success of operations across a designated territory. Your core responsibility is to not only drive revenue and deliver exceptional customer experiences but also to shape the long-term strategic direction of the region. This involves overseeing the immediate execution of operations while continually enhancing the delivery volume and overall customer satisfaction. Your leadership will be instrumental in the growth of market shares across all product lines, elevating brand awareness, and ensuring increased profitability within the territory.In this position, you will have the opportunity to directly impact and contribute to Tesla's mission by guaranteeing an accurate, consistent, and rapid transaction process for our valued customers. This role demands a keen balance between the macro and micro aspects of operational management, from shaping overarching strategies to ensuring the meticulous execution of day-to-day activities.

Responsibilities

Source, recruit, hire, and onboard top talent, taking charge of leadership, development, coaching, and motivation for high-performing teams spanning field retail, service-plus, and Tesla CentersDirectly manage a team of people-leaders, instilling and reinforcing a culture of leadership and team excellence, encompassing training standards, career pathing, succession planning, talent acquisition, and employee retentionProvide hands-on coaching and real-time feedback in stores and delivery centers, setting clear team targets and individual goalsProactively mediate and resolve customer concerns and maintain safety and security standards in collaboration with EH&S and Workplace and Security TeamsUtilize reports and dashboards to provide feedback on strategic direction and implement process management changesDemonstrate fluency in local market sales and DMV requirements/processes and partner with fleet logistics to optimize sales and delivery processesBuild robust relationships with key stakeholders across departments, developing market strategy and commercial awarenessRequirements

Degree and at least 10 years of experience leading large teams in a high-growth, service-focused industry with multi-site experience; preferredDemonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team while managing multiple projects and adhering to business-critical deadlinesExcellent analytical, verbal/written communication, and sales skillsEffective at using data, logic, and instincts to identify problems and execute solutionsExperience running complex processes using Lean or other techniques; prior P&L experience requiredAbility to travel frequently, stand or sit for 8 hours or more, and work evenings and weekendsValid driver's license requiredCompensation and BenefitsBenefits
