The Community Health Business/Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing business operations and data to identify trends, improve processes, and drive strategic decision-making. The analyst will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across departments and communities to understand their needs, gather data, and develop actionable insights that support Community Health Needs and goals. The role requires a combination of technical data analysis skills, business acumen, knowledge of health home data sets, and social determinants of health (SDOH) data collection to identify and solve complex problems. This role with support the needs of the Community Health Team; including the implementation of the NYS Health Home Program and driving key data collection and analysis of our community health needs assessment.

Data Analysis and Reporting:Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate data findings to stakeholders.Perform ad-hoc analysis to support business decision-making and strategic planning.Business Process Improvement:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven solutions.Conduct root cause analysis to identify process inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions.Develop and document standard operating procedures and workflows to optimize business operations.Data Management and Governance:

Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy by establishing data governance practices.Maintain data integrity and security by managing access, permissions, and data retention policies.Work with IT and data engineering teams to develop and maintain data infrastructure and tools.Stakeholder Collaboration:

Partner with key stakeholders to understand their business needs, objectives, and data requirements.Translate business requirements into technical specifications for data collection, analysis, and reporting.Present data insights, findings, and recommendations to senior leadership and other stakeholders.Performance Measurement:

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of business strategies, projects, and initiatives using key performance indicators (KPIs).Track and report on the performance of business units, departments, and individual projects.Additional ResponsibilitiesMinimum Qualifications:

Required Skills, Abilities and Attributes

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field.2+ years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or a related field.\Experience in a healthcare setting highly preferredExperience with EPIC data sets highly preferredExperience working with health home/community health data required.Proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as SQL, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar.Power BI highly preferredStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and communicate findings effectively.Knowledge of statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.Experience with data management, data governance, and data quality best practices.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range: $28.88 - $47.41Pay Grade: 31Compensation may vary based upon, but not limited to: overall experience and qualifications, shift, and location.
