Front-end Web Developer

We are seeking a front-end web developer to join our team. As a front-end developer, you will be responsible for modifying the user interface of the application used to run the Armis Community, Gainsight InSided and our Support Portal on Salesforce Experience Cloud. Qualified candidates are expected to have a working knowledge of HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript and a solid understanding of user interface and user experience (UI/UX) design. Your duties will include synthesizing requirements (verbal, FIGMA, etc.) and creating prototypes for iteration. You will create reusable code and build high-quality UI components with scalability in mind. You will also be responsible for implementing new features to our Community website, creating custom web pages, handling the integration of plugins, and performing routine maintenance and performance optimizations.

Build web applications with web development best practicesTransform app designs into front-end code with HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptWork with back-end developers to integrate UI components with APIs and databasesGather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical requirements or UX designDebug errors, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine performance optimizationsOn-site search engine optimization (SEO)Write high-quality, scalable, and reusable codeStay plugged into emerging technologies and industry trendsDemonstrated ability to integrate applications with 3rd party services through the use of (REST) APIsPrior experience working in an Agile/SCRUM environmentQualifications:

Below are the qualifications expected of a front-end developer:US Citizen RequiredBachelor's degree in computer science or a related fieldMinimum of "5 years of experience" developing modern, responsive, and cross-browser-compatible websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptPortfolio RequiredKnowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, and VueExperience with JavaScript libraries such as jQuery and BootstrapProficiency with HTML5, including semantic HTML5 elements, microformats, and WAI-ARIAProficient working knowledge of web based accessibility practicesWorking knowledge of SEO principlesBasic proficiency with Photoshop and web designExperience with cross-browser compatibility testing

The ideal candidate will also be skilled in video editing and graphic design.

Pay ranges $145,000 to $190,000
