My client provides construction management and consulting services to clients in the Life Sciences, Mission Critical, Healthcare, and Industrial markets. They foster design-build relationships with their clients to add value. Their focus is on complex projects in regulated markets. They are in the midst of a successful 5 year strategic growth plan allowing for the intake of larger projects.
Job Description
Must have experience preparing detailed conceptual cost estimates and conceptual cost studies from schematic or feasibility level documentationAbility to prepare detailed estimate updates, as the design evolves, including preparing variance summaries between estimatesMust have knowledge and understanding of unit costs and the factors that affect construction costAbility to prepare detailed instructions to bidders, trade specific clarifications and comprehensive bid packageMust have experience writing and negotiating subcontractsMust be prepared to participate and often lead the preparation and presentation of cost / budget information to the Customer / OwnerWillingness and desire to actively participate in Value Engineering sessions with the project team and design teamHas the ability to develop business with new and existing CustomersMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant
3+ Years of Estimating ExperienceStrong ability to analyze numerical information and construction plans and drawings with the purpose of determining project requirements and budget.High level of detail orientation, documentation, and reporting skills.Strong communication skills with work teams, project managers, vendors, clients, building owners, and senior management.Track record of focus and emphasis on quality.Strong computer skills including MS Office, Bluebeam, Plan Grid, Primavera 6, BIMWhat's on Offer
Base salary of between $110,000 to $150,000 base salary (dependent upon experience)Performance related bonus schemeGenerous benefits packageHealthDentalVision401K planProfit Sharing account for ALL employeesFlexible work environment (work-life balance mentality)
