We are looking for a self motivated litigation attorney to join our Labor and Employment team in Tampa to handle cases independently and as part of our multidisciplinary team when necessary.

Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and dedicated Labor and Employment Attorney to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a wide range of labor and employment matters, including providing advice and counsel to clients, representing clients in disputes, and handling labor negotiations. This position is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional who is passionate about labor law and is seeking a challenging, rewarding role in the legal industry.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive legal advice and guidance on a wide range of labor and employment matters, including compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
- Represent clients in labor and employment disputes, including conducting investigations, drafting legal documents, and presenting cases in court.
- Negotiate and draft employment contracts and collective bargaining agreements.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to stay abreast of current trends and developments in labor and employment law.
- Collaborate with other members of the legal team to develop strategies and solutions for complex legal issues.
- Provide training and education to clients on labor and employment law issues.
- Manage and oversee the work of junior attorneys and support staff.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice law and in good standing in the state of Florida.
- A minimum of 3 years of litigation experience with a focus on labor and employment law.
- Proven experience as a 1st chair attorney, including significant trial experience.
- In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws.
- Excellent negotiation, advocacy, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex legal documents and advise clients accordingly.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
