Registered Nurse, RN utilizes the nursing process in the care of designated Residents, administers medications & treatments to residents, & documents appropriately on assigned nursing unitRegistered Nurse, RN reports findings of ongoing observations/assessments to the designated Charge Nurse, Nursing Supervisor, &/or Unit ManagerRegistered Nurse, RN demonstrates knowledge of basic test/lab collection values, deliver direct resident care consistent with the policies/procedures & Resident Bill of Rights, in combination with demonstrated clinical skills/knowledgeRegistered Nurse, RN will identify/respond timely to patient concerns/needsRegistered Nurse, RN will demonstrate effective interpersonal skills necessary to ensure appropriate quality patient carePrepare resident assignments considering the category of needs of the patient & competency of personnel, monitor/evaluate the flow of activity & delivery of patient care provided (positioning, bathing, etc.) & assure documentation records (ADLs, meal intake, etc.) are completed for CNAsIs punctual and/or provides proper notification for lateness or absenteeismWe offer EXCELLENT benefits including Aetna Health insurance on the 1st of the month after hire.RN Supervisor organizes/oversees/supervises assigned unit activities & staff assignmentsDemonstrates clinical expertise which is consistent with the established standards of Nursing PracticeRN Supervisor will identify & respond, appropriately & timely, to patient needsMonitor, observe, & document vital signs, treatments administered, & patient responses.RN Supervisor will administer medications & treatments as neededCommunicate & direct services or any plan/concerns/information to appropriate team members, resident, family, or medical staffIdentify & follow disciplinary action as stated in policyCollaborate with interdisciplinary team, physicians, & other vendors/servicesPerform RN assessment to resident's post incidents or change in conditionLead & direct emergency situations - (Fire, Elopement, etc.)Maintain accurate nursing report, staffing sheets, & census rosterRequirements:Requirements
Current & good standing RN License in State of New YorkExperience with geriatric/short term rehab/Alzheimer's patients is desirableProgressive nursing experience, supervisory experience preferredDedicated to providing extraordinary, quality, compassionate care to each residentGenuinely interested in helping ill, injured, disabled, & elderlyHave patience & willingness to assist any residents & co-workersHave excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, & organization skillsAble to work well under pressure, flexible, & will work harmoniously with all staffCovid-19 vaccinations are encouraged but
