Collects blood and performs tests in chemistry, hematology urinalysis, blood bank, serology and microbiology to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of diseases following established hospital and laboratory and procedures.
Requirements:
Associate in Science degree in Medical Technology (or equivalent training) required. MLT with ASCP or one of its equivalents required. One year of experience preferred. Mathematical, computer, reasoning, and language skills at the college level (2 years).
