Position Summary
Responsible for executing helper duties to assist assigned crew.
Primary Responsibilities
Read blueprints and specification to determine the scope of work: location, quantities, and sizes of materials requiredLay out, position, align, and fit together fabricated parts of structural metal productsSet up face block, jigs, and fixturesLocate and mark centerlines and reference points onto floor or face block and transpose them to work piece, using tape, chains, plumb bob, and squaresPosition or tighten braces, jacks, clamps, ropes, or bolt straps of bolt parts in positions for welding or rivetingAdditional responsibilities not listed may be required
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years industrial construction/maintenance industry experiencePhysical Requirements
Climbing, Balancing, Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Crawling, Reaching, Standing, Walking, Pushing, Pulling, Lifting, Grasping, Feeling, Repetitive MotionsOther details
