Job DescriptionWorld Markets Operations SpecialistThe World Markets Operations Specialist job performs daily processing of funds settlement and maintenance of daily work files while adhering to established department procedures and regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities and DutiesReviews and processes incoming and outgoing foreign and domestic currency wires.Maintains daily settlement records and supporting documentation.Assists with audit requests and testing of system enhancements.Performs other duties as assigned.Reviews, submits, and monitors collection and credit of foreign drafts sent to collection with foreign financial institutions.Batches and deposits incoming checks and credit customers accordingly.Processes account to account transfers and intercompany payments.Sends SWIFT messages to trace non-receipt of customer and broker payments and incoming payments with insufficient information to properly credit our customers.Updates the foreign currency rates on the Business Online Banking (BOB) system.Processes all customer fees and fees posted to our statements for foreign correspondent bank accounts.Educational RequirementsHigh School PreferredWork ExperienceNo Experience RequiredPhysical RequirementsPhysical Requirements: Sedentary WorkCareer Level2ICAdditional InformationPreferred QualificationsWorld Markets/Foreign exchange operations experienceKnowledgeable of regulatory requirementsVery detail-orientedAble to work in a fast-paced environment, strong typing skillsPosting End Date: 09/13/24#LI-CE1#LI-HYBRIDJob Description DisclaimerThis job description is not intended to be a comprehensive list of duties, responsibilities or activities that are required to perform this job.
