Job Description:
The Staff Nurse, RN provides professional nursing care through the application of nursing skills and processes todevelop, implement, and evaluate patients plan of care; while creating an atmosphere that supports ourmission to care, to heal, to educate. The Staff Nurse, RN as the primary care giver provides direct patient careand works collaboratively with other care team members, the physician and the patient/family to achieveoptimal patient outcomes. The incumbent has access to confidential patient information and makes decisionsindependently and in collaboration with others. The Staff Nurse, RN works under the direct supervision of theNurse Manager and under the indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing.In this position responsibilities will consist of managing and conducting the care of up to 3 ICU step down patients or up to 4 m/s type patients.Experience Preferred:
in DKA, ETOH withdraw, Cardizem drips and AFIB
