TeamYou will be part of the Pottery Barn teen Textile Product Development team, working in our brand headquarters in San Francisco, CA. Our job is to drive and manage sample development from concept through to production, working together with Design, Technical Design, Merchants and Sourcing team members.Overview of the roleThe Sample Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Head Design Manager and Development Team by coordinating the movement of samples and helping to facilitate development between stakeholders, with the ultimate goal of getting to an approved sample. The role requires a can-do attitude and is a key player in facilitating and maintaining cross-functional operational processes.ResponsibilitiesManage/track/request all samples and sample ETD'sMaintain updated Development Reports. Ensure all samples are on track to arrive for milestone meetings and deadlinesCoordinate and run weekly Product Development meetings ensuring all program information is up to date prior to meetingEnsure all samples are Design (sometimes Construction, e.g Rugs) Approved on time to ensure ship windows are not delayedOwn design comments and/or updates in PLMGenerate and publish notes and/or recaps for key meetingsMaintain an organized sample workspace by keeping product stored in a manner that fosters a safe environment to conduct businessAssist the Merchant and Sourcing teams with their sample-related needs and photo sample check-out listArchive all development samples seasonally. Maintain accurate Archive listsSupport Designers and Technical Team by sending packages out to vendors/agents (e.g. print specs, fabric references, etc.)Support Print and Pattern team by receiving print CAD's for approvalsOperate a computer and communicate via telephoneTransport materials and equipment and lift, move, and carry objects up to 50 pounds on a limited basis

The expected starting pay range for this position is
$26.00-$28.00 per hour . Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to competitive pay, compensation may include a variety of other components like benefits, paid time off, merit, and bonus opportunities.
