We are looking for an experienced cross-functional Art Director to join our creative team.

As an Art Director for our client, you'll be a pivotal force in shaping the visual identity of one of the world's leading tech companies. Your creative acumen coupled with strong product photography and product rendering experience will drive the design and execution of compelling marketing materials across all major media channels. You'll work closely with a cross-functional team to generate innovative concepts, solve complex design challenges, and deliver high-quality assets that resonate with our target audience. A passion for storytelling, combined with a strong technical foundation, will be essential to your success in this dynamic role.

This is a remote position ideally located in either New York or the San Francisco Bay Area

Key Responsibilities

Be a fountain of ideas and creative thinking who can think and implement quickly, laterally, independently or collaborativelyProvide hands-on leadership, overseeing design teams and ensuring high-quality project execution and solve complex problemsResponsible for weekly production requests of consumer facing communications that are featured in multiple channels (Marketing, Production, Retail, Editorial, Engineering, Localization and QA)Experience working in a fast paced, iterative process and be able to professionally accept and coalesce feedback from multiple stakeholdersDemonstrate mastery of creative production, collaborating with producers and independently tracking project timelines effectivelyMaintain a meticulous attention to detail, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and technical specificationsCreate detailed designs, sketches, and mood boards to visualize concepts and communicate ideas to the team

Knowledge, Skills + Experience

Experienced in developing and executing campaigns, and has an advanced understanding of what makes content engaging and successful across channels and audiencesStrength in translating high level ideas into unique visual styles and directionsAttention to detail, balance and innovation and ability to provide detailed specifications and comments to convey desired directionPassionate about graphic design, typography, photography, motion and 3D renderingA keen awareness of visual trends associated with entertainment, technology & culture. Experience designing for these industries would be useful.Ability to create work under minimal supervision as well as package and articulately present creative solutionsPortfolio demonstrating proficiency in delivering strong creative ideas across digital, social or static and print8+ years relevant design experience; Preferably time spent at top design or advertising agencies. Motion & 3D capabilities are a plus.Bachelor's degree in Graphic, Information, Communication, or Web Design, or equivalentExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with an understanding of and high comfortability being in a client-facing environmentProficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Google Workspace and FigmaExperience preparing files for both print and digital assets across multiple platformsSelf-starter and effective problem solver who thrives in ambiguous and fast-paced environmentsFlexible and adaptive to the changing needs of the business

For New York or California applicants: The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $165,000 annually. Actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors that are unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, certifications and work location. This range may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.

The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus targets, benefits and/or other applicable incentives.
