Job Purpose and OverviewDawn Food Products, Inc. seeks a Regional Pricing/Margin Specialist in Jackson, MI. Price, plan and forecast financial analysis of key drivers, developing business analytics to support key decision making and profitability governance.What will you do as a Regional Pricing/Margin Specialistat Dawn Foods?Support growing our market account business in the US while delivering profitable financial growth.Provide a full spectrum of financial control and report into the Commercial Finance Manager within the Commercial Finance team.Prepare forecasts and analyzes trends in manufacturing, distribution, sales, finance, general business conditions and other related areas.Perform a variety of necessary tasks for all assignments including preparing work plan and schedule, completing detailed analysis and research, identifying options, preparing reports for management, and recommending action or change based on findings.Provide assistance to departments in the formulation of their budgets.Review departmental actual expenses versus budgeted expenses and issues monthly variance statements. Assist in the development of financial reporting systems and procedures and performance measures.Conduct special financial and business related studies as requested by management. Analyze that are more complex and varied in nature than that of Financial Analyst I. Require some evaluation, originality or ingenuity.
What Does It Take to be a Regional Pricing/Margin Specialist at Dawn Foods?Below are the minimum qualifications to be a fit for this job.Bachelor's degree in Finance Accounting, Economics, or related field or foreign equivalent and two years experience in a Financial Analyst or Accounting role or related occupation.Experience must include focusing and partnering with Sales, Marketing, R&D and Commercial leadershipUsing Skills and Tools including Excel, SAP,Sales Force, Project Management, Process and resource mappingUtilizing Data Mining, KPI Reporting, Data visualization, and Data modelling.
