Position Summary

In this leadership role, you will shape and execute our operations strategy, structure, and processes. Your mission is to ensure the seamless production of top-quality products and exceptional service. You will oversee inside sales and account management, supply chain, engineering, and multiple manufacturing facilities.

Fostering a collaborative environment, you will drive a culture of continuous improvement and a steadfast commitment to putting the customer first. Working closely with employees at all levels, you will promote accountability, transparency, and open communication.

Supervisory ResponsibilitiesLead a dynamic Operations Team, including leaders in Inside Sales and Account Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Manufacturing.Coordinate team activities by managing schedules, documentation, and communication.Inspire and mentor team leaders, guiding their growth and development.Plan and adjust staffing levels to align with current and future business needs.Recruit, onboard, and train new leaders and staff as required.Conduct performance evaluations, personal improvement plans, and disciplinary actions constructively.Take on additional supervisory responsibilities as needed.

Key ResponsibilitiesEnhance safety, throughput, and accuracy across the operations team.Gain hands-on experience with operations departments.Develop and implement strategies to boost efficiency, productivity, and profitability.Collaborate with executive leadership to set operational goals, KPIs, and performance metrics.Lead continuous improvement efforts to streamline processes and reduce costs.Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for operational departments.Ensure effective cost control and competitive pricing strategies.Provide strong leadership to foster a culture of accountability and collaboration.Identify and nurture high-potential employees for future leadership roles.Implement training programs to enhance team skills and capabilities.Maintain exceptional customer service standards by ensuring high-quality products and timely delivery.Work closely with sales and account management teams to address customer needs and develop tailored solutions.Resolve customer issues promptly and effectively.Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed.

Required Skills/AbilitiesEnergetic and dynamic leader who thrives in a team-oriented environment.Proven ability to build and manage high-performing teams.Strong execution focus with a track record of delivering results.Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and improvement methodologies, including Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.Proficiency with ERP systems and relevant software for managing operations and supply chain activities.Experience with quoting and pricing strategies, and ability to develop competitive pricing models.Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings; CAD design experience is a plus.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.Solid understanding of financial management principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.Proven experience in negotiating with suppliers, vendors, and customers.

Education And ExperienceBachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field.Master's degree or MBA preferred.At least 15 years of experience in operations management within the manufacturing industry, including leading multi-site operations.

Language, Physical, And Travel RequirementsExceptional verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in English required; Spanish proficiency is a plus.Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods.Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.Extended periods of standing and repetitive movements.Willingness to travel by air and car several times a year; approximately 30% travel required.Located within a daily commutable distance to our Corporate Headquarters and Manufacturing Center.
