Overview
Job PurposeThis role supports all facets of ICE Mortgage Technology customers to ensure business writing services provided to our customers exceed expectations. Supports the overall design, development, and maintenance of business writing deliverables for ICE MT's customers. External customers may include mortgage loan originators, mortgage operations professionals and more. The Consultant, BW ES will collaborate with Learning Solutions management and teams to ensure all deliverables are current and support the education and business needs of ICE Mortgage Technology customers. This position calls for an experienced individual able to align resources, execute on project goals on time and within budget to drive revenue expectations.ICE MT's Learning Solutions offers services centered on creating written materials that focus on procedures, regulations, statutes, standards, and investor requirements for the mortgage industry. Developing accurate, comprehensive and clearly written works (some of which are private labeled) such as manuals or lender/seller guides along with authoring and maintaining ICE MT proprietary content is critical to the success of the Business Writing team. In addition to supporting the development and authorship of revenue generating collateral, the position includes project management and customer-facing components.The incumbent will execute the overall design, development, and maintenance of content. The incumbent, through their work with, and exposure to, clients' needs, and industry topics is required to stay abreast of current industry developments and be proactive in determining how to convert a client-specific need into a more generic product that can be sold as a solution to many customers.ResponsibilitiesProduce, evaluate and maintain ICE MT's proprietary business writing products: Policy and Procedure Guides, Mortgage Mentor Guides, and customized solutions for customers within the scope of a project proposal to ensure client satisfaction.Review writing and content from subject matter experts, consultants and/or staff.Ensure no business writing content is outdated or obsolete.Knowledge and ExperienceBachelor's degree in related field or working experience is required.Mortgage industry knowledge required (10+ years). Compliance experience a plus.Four years of development/business writing experience.Two years of experience with data management systems (SharePoint, Teamwork, etc.)Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with high-level contacts to ensure successful project completion.Experience in mortgage lending content development and/or policy authoring.Strict attention to detail and maintain a high level of accuracy.Excellent written/oral communication skills are mandatory.Excellent organization skills are mandatory.Outstanding time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and high workload.Excellent word processing and computer skills.Working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Excel is required.Passion to stay current on mortgage industry trends and related technology.ScheduleThis role offers work from home flexibility of 1 day per week.#LI-SF1Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
