General Hotels Corporation is searching for a General Manager to lead our Courtyard by Marriott Columbus Airport team.
Responsibilities include:Leads and manages overall operation of hotel.Directs department heads to ensure overall profit, service and team member satisfaction goals are met or exceeded, including Brand Standard compliance.Drives and motivates hotel team to create a clean, comfortable, well-maintained hotel.Fosters a culture aligned with our vision and values.Responsible for hiring, termination, and training of all employees.Speaks with and responds to guests regarding service challenges.Ability to work throughout each department as needed.Facilitates a compliant Manager on Duty program 7 days a week.Works within department budgets, defining and directing changes as required.Prepares revenue and expense forecasts, directing hotels actions required to maximize profitability, increasing service levels and compliance with policies and procedures.Oversees the Sales and Marketing activity and results, leading and/or participating in sales and marketing strategy meetings.Property level accounting to include accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll.Facilitates hotel projects such as renovations and brand initiatives.
