The Clinical Director will lead the clinical operations at our inpatient residential substance abuse treatment center, which provides services at ASAM levels 3.5 and 3.7.
This role requires a dynamic, compassionate leader with extensive experience in substance abuse treatment and a deep understanding of clinical practices and regulatory requirements. The Clinical Director will oversee a multidisciplinary team, ensure high-quality patient care, and drive continuous improvement in clinical outcomes.
Qualifications:
[Education]
Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field. A clinical license is required.
[Experience]
Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in substance abuse treatment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role. (preferred)
[Skills]
Strong leadership and management skills. In-depth knowledge of ASAM criteria and levels of care. Excellent clinical judgment and crisis intervention skills. Proficiency in electronic health records and clinical documentation. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in an inpatient or residential treatment setting. Certification in addiction counseling (e.g., CADC, CAADC). Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to substance abuse treatment.
Work Environment:
The Clinical Director will work in an inpatient residential treatment setting, requiring direct interaction with patients and staff. The role may involve evening or weekend hours, depending on the needs of the facility.
