C4ISR Software Engineer

MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university in applied science, computing, engineering, mathematics, physics, management information systems, or other related engineering or computer science disciplineMinimum three (3) years of experience performing software engineering management, reduction, and analysis of data, designing tests, and laboratory analyses, including scientific analyses and interpretation of research results for C4ISR systemsMinimum three (3) years of experience with software engineering that includes software planning, requirements analysis, design, development, integration, testing, debugging, and installing large scale software systems. This experience must also include how to estimate, measure and report quality and progress of the software development effortDESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:Experience developing embedded real-time softwareExperience developing models and simulationExperience working with Real-time Operating Systems (RTOS)Experience with object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD) methodologies.Experience with Agile software developmentExperience with DevSecOps and/or complex software build plans.Experience with open architecture constructs like Sensor Open Systems Architecture (SOSA), Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (C5ISR)/Electronic Warfare Modular Open Suite of Standards (CMOSS), Open Mission Systems (OMS), Open Communication Standard (OCS); utilizing the Universal Command and Control Interface (UCI)Experience developing and documenting software architecture using Cameo, or similar Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) toolsExperience with configuration management and collaboration tools such as (or similar to) Git, JIRAExperience with LPD (Low Probability of Detection) and LPI (Low Probability of Intercept) waveforms and anti-jam waveformsSRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVELABOUT USScientific Research Corporation is an advanced information technology and engineering company that provides innovative products and services to government and private industry, as well as independent institutions.
